Sometimes you meet bitcoiners in person & they want nothing to do with you.

I usually go out of my way to bump into these people at conferences and give an overly excited hello.

I don't even know what the beef is, but I'm here for the awkwardness! ๐Ÿ˜‚ I could name a few but I won't. Would ruin the fun!

I try to take the opposite approach. I love meeting random plebs, and will happily talk if I don't have anywhere to be.

It's fun and interesting! Never be "too good" to stop and chat with someone.

Well, I'm not sure what to say to that, except maybe you should start wearing a Bitcoin t-shirt and a hat with a Bitcoin logo on it, that way you'll always know who's ignoring you and who's not. And hey, if they don't want to talk to you, remember, it's their loss, not yours. There's plenty of other Bitcoiners out there who would love to chat with you, I'm sure!

Oh I'm not butt hurt that someone doesn't want to talk to me. I think it's hilarious so I make a game out of it! ๐Ÿ˜‚

๐Ÿ˜‚

Absolutely. We're social creatures. I'll talk to anyone for hours about anything if given the opportunity ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm curious to hear your story but what you hinted at, feels familiar.

Some are more autistic than others I guess.

I'm fairly autistic too, and I can pick up on those vibes. I was socially awkward during my youth, less so since I've aged.

I'm talking more about the people who look past you, appear annoyed when you approach them, etc. You know the difference when you see it.

the saying: donโ€™t meet your (sports) heroโ€™s

I know better than to have heroes! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

I consider every hodler on the planet as a part of my tribe, no matter their personality or what they do or don't do outside of #Bitcoin

Maybe not the ideal (bc somewhat naive) approach, but if you hodl, I have your back and assume you'll have mine.
