When Tor support becomes a standard feature for Nostr clients, not only is that a privacy boost, but it also means anyone can run a node from a Raspberry Pi or any hardware you have available in your home without revealing your IP address or opening any ports, same as using Umbrel to start a Bitcoin node.

If even a fraction of us spin up a Docker image on a cheap circuit board, Nostr will be super private, censorship resistant, and most importantly truly decentralised - relays won't all be in data centres, they'll be physically with us plebs.
