GPT will say Ugaritic, Grok says old Persian cuneiform. Theyโ€™re both right, and wrong. Its early Sumerian. The creation of that particular writing system was heavily influenced by commerce, and was adopted by many surrounding places through commerce with culture specific changes made over time. Its kind of like Latin or English.. the language of the dominant economic nation gets adopted by other countries even when its not their predominant language.
