Okay, but in my mind Christ is a religious figure. So you're saying that following the teachings of one specific person who is so deeply interwoven with Christianity as a religion, It's specifically different than a religion. Correct?

Here is a definition I found: religion: the belief in and worship of a superhuman power or powers, especially a God or gods

Religion is the belief in and worship of.

Jesus Christ is that God we believe in and worship.

Does that explain the difference? Hope that helps.
