we have double the trouble here, because they set madeira as portuguese time zone and it's almost an hour ahead by the longitude, and then most of the year they set it another hour ahead... on the winter solstice the sun is rising at "9am"!

There was a priest near where I live that he never followed that daylight saving time, when people would ask him why, he responded "I only use God's time".
