Hmm, you have a point. They are both kinda funny in a similar way.

More than anything though, the punchline, (people's reactions to the posts) is just sad. Do people believe that humans don't have free will? That manipulation is a robust strategy for preventing evil? That posts about a sin have a tangible affect on the sin itself?

Every time I see someone responding to posts like that, I ask myself these questions. When will the joke finally go away? When will edgy posts finally be ignored? Sad. Funny, and sad.
