For zaps I use Alby, it has Nostr wallet connect (NWC) for one tap zaps. It is still a custodial wallet, so I also have Phoenix wallet for holding larger amounts in self custody.

nevermind, got it to work - seems alby doesn’t like protonmail (or the other way round)

If you use Amethyst you can use NWC now for one tap zaps!
