Bitcoin mining was built for this purpose….. gives serious life to the less efficient older generation ASICs.

Potentially MORE value on less efficient machines as you need less of them to create the load. S9 getting bid up as load banks…. ? Not a crazy idea.

S9s would be the perfect candidate for a bitcoin mining load bank.

What’s the clearing price of bulk S9 units…. $50, $25, $10?

Seems an opportunity to create an S9 load bank and give it away, with commercials around sharing the Bitcoin mined. So much opportunity.

It’ll cost more than loadbanks. But u like load banks it’ll earn bitcoin.

1.3kW per S9. 13 Th/s. So work out how many bitcoin that would mind for 500kW of S9s to get a sense for the time to get ROI based on different network hashrate and bitcoin price.

Yeah cheers - good start. Visited my first methane flare at the local land fill today. Getting 15,000 ACCU per year for burning into the air.

Tried to meet the Ops Manager but he was on holiday. You’ve inspired me to do the leg work. Based on what I can find looks like $700k Capex and $600 per day rev in btc off this spot.

Just need to find out the annual spend on maintaining/running the flare before I pitch my idea to take it to $0. Try do a JV with the landfill company or long term agreement to take the energy on site. Not going to die wondering…. 😂😎🦖🔥
