You need a better interface, man. As a non techy, Damus is confusing. X (Twitter) == Mac OS, Damus == Linux. I offer this as constructive criticism, since I think we need this platform. But in its present form its appeal is limited.

the interface for the "feed" is not really usable. and searching/locating individual accounts is almost impossible for a basic user. even with an @. i really like the save on the note even if it closes before sent and unlimited text length.
