Find #[0] proposal of using nostr as a protocol for signing via https://coinstr.app/ very interesting.

But I think to make it really powerful we need to think about the key rotation use cases first.

We need a nip to introduce / swap XPubs. For a specific purpose. After that figuring out the signing is much simpler.

#[3] What do you think?

I am not in a position to think.

😂 That isn't good

Happy to jump on a call to share my thoughts. I built misthos.io in 2018 to solve shared custody. But didn’t gain traction and ran out of money. Have thought about it a lot.

The trickiest thing to solve for is when members of a group change (think an wallet for a company controlled by CxOs but one of them leaves/is replaced).

If you solve the UX for that scenario (ie seamless key rotation) you’ve got a killer!

Oh well in that case, here's the github. Maybe you can get in touch with the developer

First class support for XPub exchange should be a Nip imo. Then multiple applications could inter-op for multisig use cases.

Okay, well since you have the experience, would you like to be the one who submits the NIP to the nostr repo?

I would love too but I’m not sure I will find the time to see it through. Best would probably be a collaboration as co-author. If there is someone else you know of interested in this topic please connect!
