My dog has been adverse to grooming since puppyhood. Except for what I call paw-dicures, puppy pedicures. As a puppy she would even howl the entire time I was in the shower. I think wrestling an alligator might be easier than bathing her. I keep her away from the worst smells and do force baths on her sometimes. I’ve also accepted she smells like a dog.
