With V4V do you find yourself more concerned about giving value to others, or receiving value from others? As a general rule in life, I have found it is better to focus your energy on providing others with more value than you expect in return from them. Obviously having healthy boundaries is important because there are some people who will take advantage of your generosity. But in general, I believe living each day with the mindset of a giver has made for a better life for me, and hopefully for those with whom I interact, no matter the arena or circumstance. 💜🤙

Generally I think more about giving value through zaps to others or posting what I think are interesting notes.
Very applicable here with the way Nostr is designed 💜 I also think about it beyond Nostr too. Like going above expectations when doing a job for someone. Or even in non monetary situations, like if you go out of your way to bring a friend their favorite food without them expecting it. Each day is full of opportunities to add value to someone else’s life.
I find this to be true in my own experience. I seem to receive more when I give fully without expecting anything back.
Yes 💯 it’s counter intuitive at times even, lol, but it absolutely has been my experience. I think living with that mindset frees us.
