Israel killed six siblings (Ahmad, Mohammad, Abdul Rahman, Youssef, Ayham, and Shahd Ayman Al-Jamal) along with their mother, Hanan Khaled Al-Jamal, in an airstrike on their shelter in Al-Sabra, south of Gaza City.

Their father, Ayman Al-Jamal, was killed by Israeli forces months earlier.
