An example of the size of absurdity:

Shipping and insurance: BRL 30

Total without tax: BRL 280

How will it look now 👇

Tax (92% of the total amount): BRL 257.60

Total with love tax: BRL 537.60

You buy a headset for BRL 250 and pay BRL 257.60 TAX ONLY!

This is because, among other things, the rate falls in cascade. ICMS, for example, takes into account what you have already paid in import tax 🤡

And more: the tax will apply on top of SHIPPING and INSURANCE too!

That ludicrous 92% fee will apply to ALL purchases over $50.

You buy a product and pay another in tax to the PT.

The tax that “did not exist” is increasingly salty. AliExpress was the first of the major international stores to DISCLOSE the total tax we will pay. Shein and Shopee should be next.

Of course, Janja and Lula will not feel this tax in their skin. After all, they only shop on their frequent international trips 👍
