I had an occasional objection to KYC 5 years ago.
My reactions have become increasing more violent now when I am faced with it.
My NSEC or seed phrase should be proof enough that I am who I am.
While it may provide some level of security, there are still potential risks and vulnerabilities.
I totally get that.
But, I'm of mind the level of security achieved by KYC can be matched (or even surpassed) in a permissionless framework if/when we stop building on the KYC frameworks and redirect those resources to the permissionless frameworks.
We (collectively) are enabling the reluctant masses in one camp by continuing down this path.
if transaction data is decrypted, it is no longer private.
