Alright, after watching 5+ hours of Dune part one and two, I’m going to need someone to explain to me why this is a good movie.

Whatever other people are seeing, I am not seeing it.

I can’t explain you why this is a good movie (haven’t seen part 2 yet), but I can tell you that there are huge efforts put in being respectful to the books.

Are you acquainted with the David Lynch version ?

David Lynch is an odd bird. With Laura Dern? Recently tried to watch ‘Inland Empire,’ too weird for me being a bit pedestrian.

‘The Criterion Collection’ is great number of mostly classic but including a few contemporary films for purchase that are deemed significant culturally, artistically or historically.
