The regime celebrated this victory by sweets and firework in streets.

That is what they call victory. They don't care about the lives, on both sides. The death is what matters. Their god is a death god.

Never mind, looked him up. What a story. Sentenced to 7 and a half years in prison for writing a poem critical of the Ayatollah!

Iran has many people with such stories. Almost none of them have any power, no weapon at all except their words. Usually they go to prison periodically and stay there until they find a way out of iran.
