This does not seem to resonate with most people, and I genuinely cannot understand why. Bitcoin’s value proposition is such a simple concept to grasp.

I agree…….and also think that is the explanation, in part.
Most people are used to things being complicated, and needing experts. Especially (by design) financial things.
Free-minded ridk takers aren’t a huge percentage of the population.
