Here are some suggestions that helped me when I started using nostr:

-follow more people (way more)

-if you find a cool account you like, look at who they follow and add some more from that list

-post a lot of notes, about different subjects you like, about stuff you would like to see on here too

-try to post regularly

-zap people if you can, when you like content. People will zap you back

-ask questions, people are friendly
