A lot of people from my past don’t even know me.
Like at all.
I’m more myself now than I ever was at any other point in my life.
Which means I have great friendships and relationships now.
But dealing with people from the past is painful, because they’re expecting an old fake version of me and I just can’t muster a performance of that guy anymore.
Change is the only constant. Personal growth is witnessed (which is rare) in these moments for sure
