Metamask connects to Infura's servers by default, which is just another arm of the Ethereum Foundation (run by Lubin iirc, and also nobody runs their own ethereum node lmao). I'd rather use tech whose developers are less hostile to bitcoin, and encourage people to practice self-custody while not relying on browser wallets.
