That's certainly what it looks like. Just look at the stock market and how the "Magnificent Seven" reap the lion share of profits. We've only further consolidated upward over time.

If decentralization was really taking root, you'd think we'd be moving in the opposite direction. Or at least seeing some semblance of that.
