I don't know if this is a bug or not. I just changed my profile picture on #amethyst then my username changed to my npub address. How would I make my username not to change to npub address, after uploading new profile

Humm.. maybe a bug somewhere. Did you have to edit your profile to put your name back?

I tried to edit but there's no option for username but I saw display name. Not until, when I logged in on plebstr to restore my username.

Ohh Username have been deprecated in favor of name/display name. Most clients don't show usernames anymore. 🤔
