Those are all reliant on DNS. they're vulnerable to any sort of DNS hijacking.

Hypothetically if somebody's got control of wallet of satoshi's web server they could redirect traffic and pointed the wos domain at a new node and start effectively steal your sats.

And point the*

I get it, didn't thought they were invulnerable, but probably the same hijacking could be done on the servers where that host the Nip05? Just asking without knowing the details.. i am really just a noob making probably nosense question

you're definitely correct nip-05 are also vulnerable the same problems.

ultimately you can still send bitcoin via a normal lightning address so the bitcoin network is not effected. DNS is kind of the weak link here

Yeah I understand. So maybe the future could be a connection between a bitcoin keys and nostr keys.. or something like that? 🧐

No way I’m connecting my bitcoin keys to nostr.

Not the one with my stack for sure.. but an empty wallet why not?

As if I don’t have enuf wallet keys to manage, now I need another one for nostr too… I got an nsec that seems like it works fine…

Fair enough 🤣🤣

Yeah no idea honestly. but we definitely need to figure out better identity management

a sufficient DDOS attack will also take it down and make lnurl unreliable. basically anything dns is vulnerable to, so are lnurls as they are relient on that system.
