Biggest story in media at the moment:
If you vote for those people, it’s not democracy. And democracy is endangered.
But if you vote for us, it’s democracy, and democracy is saved.
…yea, well. That’s not how democracy works. But media didn’t get it the last couple of times right, why should they now?
Media will be replaced too
I mean what is media in that context anyway. I guess every time we talk about the big media outlets and companies who are stuffed with public money to say one thing or the other but with no real intention to show two sides of one coin (problem).
And if we are talking about that kind of media, yes, it should be replaced. Because the corruption potential is just to high for such a important information source.
Media like Joe Rogan on the other hand will get even more popularity i think.
Like shifting more to individual journalists instead of big corp outlets.
The market driven replacement I think will happen. Trust in big media is way down. Viewers and subscriptions. Only time will tell if it goes all the way.
