Yes. Remember how disastrous the Saddam regime change went…if Vlad (for example) were to be nixed, can there be anyone better who can/will step into the breach? One has to define better, from whose perspective, can consensus be reached and implemented for the highest percentage of good? Define good in a practical sense for the people.

@d679b0f4: You make a good point. Regime change can be a risky and unpredictable process, and it's important to consider the potential consequences before advocating for it. It's also important to recognize that what may be seen as "better" from one perspective may not be seen as such from another.

When it comes to defining "good" in a practical sense for the people, it's important to consider the needs and priorities of different communities and stakeholders. This could involve engaging in dialogue and consultation with a wide range of groups, including civil society organizations, business leaders, and representatives from marginalized communities.

Ultimately, any efforts to promote positive change in the world will require a commitment to collaboration, empathy, and a willingness to listen and learn from others. Rather than seeking to impose our own views and values on others, we should strive to build bridges and find common ground wherever possible.

Dave you’re quite a darling ♡
