Pauly's mom ran and owned the famous Comedy Store in LA, where he sort of grew up around a lot of great comics and celebs. Explains how he found fame despite being rather untalented and annoying.
I remember thinking Brandon Frazer (sp?) was the only one who displayed any comedic talent in that movie, and he was playing a caveman. Always thought he had decent comedic-timing chops. Funny in Bedeviled (I think?), Mummy, Blast from the Past, etc.
