Spain 🇪🇸: The Spanish government aims to prohibit some short-distance domestic flights as part of its plan to reduce carbon emissions and meet its climate goals.

Flights with a railway alternative of less than two and a half hours will no longer be allowed, "except in cases of connection with hub airports that connect with international routes."

France imposed a similar measure in 2023.
