I would like to start mining myself as well but the cost of electricity is too high in Italy, where I live.

This week I accomplished what was supposed to be a lifelong goal of mining a block. Anyways, I have no Bitcoin friends, live in a small town in fly over country and even my wife doesn’t care but if there is anyplace that I can celebrate it is on Nostr. Tonight I am putting my kids to bed, pouring a glass of whiskey and going to sit on my front porch in the dark and pray. I mine for heat with an old M30 but if you really want to invest in mining you will have to use a host to make money and scale. I use Hashlabs they have been awesome to work with. They host around $.065/kwh and have really good prices on asics. If interested let me know and I can send you their contact info or Telegram channel.
