I think that the Centauri/Narn "generational struggle" is also clearly coded towards the Israeli/Palestinian conflict, and more broadly, European colonialism towards the Globe South in the 18th / 19th / 20th century.

To me Minbar is clearly coded as East Asia.

What I like about the Shadows and the Vorlons is that being millions of years advanced, they're not meant to be allegories for human affairs, but rather sort of "forces of nature", stasis vs chaos, etc.
