If you are not focusing 100% of your energy to promote freedom protocols (Nostr+Bitcoin), you are complacent with gov and corporate tyrannies getting ever stronger. There’s still a small window of opportunity to reverse that trend, but it’s narrowing fast.
I completely stopped Twitter about a month ago. It’s hard, there’s more action over there, Nostr feels lonely sometimes. But that’s to right thing to do. I hope many follow the hard path, not the easy one.

The best minds are here. As Nostr grows this will be less true but nevertheless it’s worth it.
NOSTR needs fewer posts about NOSTR and more posts / profiles dedicated to macro, hobby, and even news.
Coming over here from twitter I am struck by the (1) lack of content and (2) the noise from the smaller accounts I follow.
If the profiles generating the most valuable content are being distracted from and displaced by the “GM” and “PV” and “🫂” crowd then there is very little incentive to work hard to post content in NOSTR.
Network effects are difficult to achieve and it still isn’t clear to me how decentralization and decentralized protocols play out in a world obsessed with network effects. Some of the dynamics limiting NOSTR adoption are directly applicable to the FOSS vs. network effect paradox.

I also would like to see more posts on Nostr dedicated to literature, arts, crafts, fine art photography and other forms of creativity. I think Nostr in some way should attract more creative people. I hope Nostr will become more popular among creative people #nostr #grownostr #thought
