False, any Lightning sending is totally private with no additional steps and receiving is totally private with bolt12 and in Zeus also with bolt11 if you simply check the wrapped invoices option.

It is much more difficult to configure the wasap options.

Steps involve a non-custodial wallet at minimum, none of which are really user friendly for a non-tech inclined person.
