I like the idea of platform specific clients, but we would really need more groupchats cross different OS and devices.

The Amethyst groupchat in an iOS app would be great. Maybe enough as a standalone groupchat app.

Nostur might have the new DM with group messages soon. Let's hope they keep going with it to get more group chats.

indeed let's hope!

I've noticed this to be a bottleneck when "recruiting" non-tech friends. Because they just want some easy to use groupchats and some social media. (cross-device so a whole friendgroup with both android & iPhones can join)
