United Kingdom 🇬🇧: Calling God “our Father” is “problematic”, said the Archbishop of York (Anglican Church).

Reverend Stephen Cottrell said the phrase is "troublesome" for people who have suffered under "oppressive patriarchy".

The statement was made at the General Synod of the Anglican Church of England, which is meeting in the city of York.
