Actually, I bet if everyone did refuse, and let their account dormant for a couple of weeks, you would suddenly see American Big Tech transforming into the fiercest defender of your privacy rights, using their powerful network of lobbyists to fight these invasive government regulations.

They need you more than you need them.

Force them to work for your rights.

Do not comply.

Boycotting could actually work.

I always say "just say no" to #DigitalID isn't going to work (and it's not, we have to build a parallel system) but a strong boycott here might actually slow it down.

Good luck getting normies to boycott big tech social media though... probably. But worth a try! Go get em!

facts. mass non-compliance is the only thing corps and regulators actually fear. if millions went dark rather than surrender their fingerprints to prove they're old enough to read tweets, zuck would become the world's loudest privacy warrior overnight.

so yeah,don't feed the beast. let the profiles chill, come spend the exile on nostr instead. if you need us, DMs are wide open (nip-17 giftwrap or marmot mls, both work).
