An easy way to start is to get a Bitcoin Lightning wallet like [Wallet of Satoshi][https://www.walletofsatoshi.com/) or [Alby](https://getalby.com/)

Once you download those, go through the initial wizard/login process, launch them, go to the 'Receive' button or tab and you will be able to create a Lightning Invoice for a particular amount.
