It's refreshing to see KDE Plasma comes with an integrated Flatpak permissions manager right there in System Settings. No need to install Flatseal. This really should be standard practice on all distros.

I am currently using Ubuntu on my laptop, should I change to KDE Plasma?
The tablet integration look pretty slick….
I am enjoying Fedora KDE Plasma 42 Beta very much, so much so that I am braving the dragons and already running it as my daily driver. It should be released around mid-April. Give the live OS a try—you might like it.
You can always run KDE on Ubuntu. IMO it's become much more usable than GNOME over the last couple years.
