Can any gamer here give me any reason not to completely abandon Windows?

If you are heavy into gaming and because you need software that is necessary and even if there's foss versions that cannot compete because lack stuff then you don't.

The only time I ever use Windows in my dual-boot PC is to play certain games, including VR. I’ve heard that even those games run just fine on Linux if you have modern hardware.

*Via Proton for the Windows-only games.

Then try it without dual booting

Yup. Planning to have Linux only. I’m fairly pleased with Arch, except for the occasional headache with package signatures and corrupted packages during updates. Debating whether to switch to Debian, but leaning towards sticking with Arch.
