Being home more with the baby, I’ve been checking out some daytime tv. Yeah, even reruns of SNL (Norm Macdonald on weekend update was brilliant).
One things I’ve noticed about the commercials: Pretty much all Medicaid, retirement content, and mental health hotlines. Depressing as hell
I only ever watch regular TV at my parents’ place and I have the same feeling every time. It’s brutal
The whole thing is grotesque
Not as depressing as when ya stop fast forwarding through them HA - bask in your Summer for Winter is coming and there will be side effects that include.... : )
Our day time tv is full of funeral insurance and life insurance adverts.
