Sat on hold with the Florida Department of Food Safety awaiting my yearly food permit renewal FOR 45 MINUTES. Such fun.
Still alive, so that’s good.
On behalf of my home state I apologize for my governments incompetence
45 minutes… ugh…. Hope the wait music was at least somewhat enjoyable 😆
It was decidedly not music, nor enjoyable. It was a loop of how to prevent food poisoning in food preparation; raw juices & whatnot, on a loop, for 45 ghastly minutes. At last a woman named Tonya was exceedingly helpful, and navigated me successfully (my account was locked for some mysterious reason) through my permit renewal. Hallelujah.
