Likes, replies, and zaps—there is no need to police Nostr engagement. Every form of connection is a valid form of communication.
I feel like nobody thinks about the negative consequences of these "zaps". It encourages scammers, doesn't it?

Yes, but that should not deter you from zapping the content you like—use your discrimination. Zap tech and freedom of speech are the major reasons why people join Nostr.
I'm here for the freedom of speech part. I'll have to look into zaps.
