Funny as it is, we also need to realize that the push to 'cleanup' bitcoin by going PoS is a direct attack on Bitcoin's decentralization and sovereignty.

PoW is the most important anchor that is preventing monopolistic rentseekers to take advantage from holding Bitcoin as yield generating asset like they do with fiat.

Though it may seem laughable and boring to us, these videos are effective in fooling people who does not understand money, energy, and economics into villifying Bitcoin.

Don't get bored, don't get tired, have the compassion to repeatedly explain and educate people that Bitcoin is, in fact, the only way out, the only chance we have in the foreseeable future.

It won't aged well 😌

I remember that 😏

Now it is almost impossible to mine #Bitcoin on personal computers. Both the smaller block size and the proof of work are less relevant today for decentralisation.

Some argue well I can keep the full Bitcoin ledger on my PC, how about when mining pools start to blacklist UTXOs?! So we are just getting the disadvantage of an increasingly unusable network with no upside.

Proof of stake if done right can ensure decentralisation and brute force proof, while being actually usable. Lightning is a great solution, but the base layer needs to maintain its usability too.

Bitcoin does not have to move to PoS, but it needs to somehow improve.

PoS is shitcoin, it can’t work
