The reason you don't see billionaires solving completely solvable social problems is because they themselves are a social problem.

If they don't own the narrative and the data they'll lobby millions to get what they want instead of spending it to benefit society as a whole.

It's up to people voluntarily acting individually as a whole to fix social problems. The morality of society determines how social "problems" are dealt with.

Governments and individuals acting alone are incapable of overshadowing and controlling the morality of the people as a whole.
