This film deploys a novel technique of using Van Gogh's artistic style to narrate the story of his life (& death) . Each frame is a gorgeous painting done in his style, giving it a very unique look - kudos to all the artists that worked on this movie 🙏

But it's not all looks & no substance - the narrative is an evenly paced, gripping portrait of the tormented artist & at times his brother Theo.
