yes, just the Nostr client has to support sending payments. astral.ninja was leading this already quite a while ago.

what Nostr client do you use?

I've been using snort.social, damus, and nostrgram.co (mostly nostergram.co)

I have three different clients

Damus, Iris and Amethyst I switch a lot

Just go to telegram lntips bot

/nostr add your-pubkey from nostr

Then copy the ln address or email and paste in your nostr and you are set.

Additionally you can connect bluewallet to lntips and and receive everything directly into your bluwallet instead of telegram

I am confused. I found @LNTipsBot on Telegram (labeled as BOSBOT) but there is no command for /nostr.

To get to the Telegram bot…

1) Visit http://ln.tips/ (a custom domain/URL) via a browser; this redirects to the URL below.

2) Visit https://t.me/LightningTipBot (a Telegram URL) via a brower; this opens up Telegram for the following handle:

3) @LightningTipBot (Telegram Bot Handle); search for this handle in Telegram to join.

After joining the Telegram bot, you get a generated lightning address, like so:

@ln.tips

Then you can attach your Nostr profile to the @LightningTipBot bot by typing the command:

/nostr add

If successfully you'll get the following confirmation message:

Nostr pubkey added.

Is the next step to paste your "@ln.tips" address into Nostr LN Address field?

How is this different than just using one's WoS (Wallet of Satoshi) LN Address?
