A new pixel 8a is 500$, used you can get it for half that. Yes that's a lot for billions of people, but also not too much for many who can set a savings goal.

No phone is the most revolutionary and sensical thing.
Most people are better off without a phone. They just don't know it yet.
In many countries to interact with the govt, financial services and/ or for their jobs this isn't possible. Hell, some restaurants need you to scan a QR code to get the menu
That's why it's revolutionary.
Second most revolutionary act is giving up your bank account.

I do it, but the infrastructure is being pushed towards people unable to function without a smartphone and because most use these phones it is not seen by many that the digital prison is being build. Like in Kopenhagen to park your car and pay for parking you need a smartphone ( in other country there is like one pay-point for a large parking area, they are hard to find and a far walk from where you park. I 've learned to function memorizing these paypoints whenever i see one)
, or to apply for credit card one needs to scan a qr code to go the the next step of the application. With all this i got help from others with a phone.
Would be nice if we can just drop the dopamine sucking device that got the world addicted to more and more stimulus.
More development on paying bitcoin without these devices would be a plus!
