Communism is just a political ideology. Dictatorship and authoritarian doesn’t mean communism, although often closely tied. Pretty sure democracy was nasty AF at 400BC. They’ve had 2000 years to get it right and still figuring it out. Yet democracy has always demonised communism because they can’t spread their power if it’s non-Democratic. History has not been kind to South America and North Africa and I think Chomsky covers this well.
I’m not for communism from an economic standpoint. I think if the article’s goal is to demonise AI, then it’s shortsighted on its the political ideology and perception.
AI can be manipulated based on any madness running it
