Agreed. Circumcision of baby boys is a barbaric practice. I know that's not what you were referring to, but had to throw it out there. My son is uncut. He can change that when he's an adult if he decides he wants to. His choice.

routine infant circumcision is a cultural disease disguised as an adaptation. it implements a rite of passage and it enforces an ingroup-outgroup dynamic. it's especially sinister in that it can overwrite knowledge on how to care for an intact child. see the widespread practice of american pediatricians falsely teaching to forcibly retract a child's foreskin, which causes damage. routine infant circumcision causes people to be stuck in a pattern of behavior once they know no other way. it is very hard to uninstall cultural diseases like this.
