Who out there keeps a farm journal or daily journal? I've never been consistent what's your motivation?

I try and fail to both journal/make to do lists often. Need to do better in that.
I'm good at recording when & where things are planted and if I do anything special such as amendments, but I am terrible at noting anything past that point. I really should record how everything is doing and when things start producing and such. That would help a bunch.
