Maybe the bibel was their first attempt at a screenplay/theater so that they would be remembered.. i still dont believe that they wanted to build anything else but a legacy not safe the world.

Stories made by people trying to make sense of the last remnants of a highly technically advanced society. (those that build the megalithic structures on earth). These were then cobbled together to make books that could bind large social structures than that would typically exist without a unifying central belief structure.
